New Jersey Lead Law Update (FAQ Series):  What Are The EPA Levels Adopted By The New Jersey Lead-Based Paint Law For A Passing Lead Safe Inspection?

This week we are featuring a common question: 

Question:  What are the EPA levels adopted by the New Jersey Lead-Based Paint Law for a passing lead safe inspection?

Answer:  The EPA levels adopted by the New Jersey Lead-Based Paint Law are 10 micrograms per square foot for a floor and 100 micrograms per square foot for a windowsill.  Lab results must not exceed these levels for a “passing” result.  If your property fails the EPA testing standard, we will guide you on the remediation/interim control process.
