We have received your lead testing request. We will reach out to the contact that you provided to arrange for the lead test to be completed by our technician based upon a mutually available date and time.  Please note that it may take 1 - 2 days to schedule your test, and we are prioritizing your request.  

Instructions for how to prepare for both the visual and dust wipe inspections has been sent to you in a seperate email. If you have not recieved the instructions please contact us (732) 288-6570 and we will be happy to resend them to you.

For Visual Inspections: Typically results are available within 24 hours of inspection. We will email you when the results are ready.

For Visual + Dust Sampling: Once the test samples are taken at the property, it takes 7 business days from the receipt of the sample at the laboratory to provide the results. We will email you when the results are ready.

As required by the State of New Jersey, each municipality must assess an additional fee of $20 per unit inspected, which will be deposited into the Lead Hazard Control Assistance Fund.  Some municipalities may also charge additional administrative fees. The property owner is responsible for paying this fee to the municipality upon submission of the lead certifications.

Important: If the tenant (or who you listed as the contact for testing) does not respond to our scheduling request, the test may be delayed.  Please ensure you notify the tenant or your contact that the lead test is to be completed at the property per the email/text info suggested below.

We ask that you immediately notify your tenant (s) / contact that a representative from Lead Testing Services New Jersey LLC will be contacting them to perform the lead test.

Please let the tenant know the following (which we recommend you cut/paste into an email or text):

• A representative from Lead Testing Services New Jersey LLC will be contacting you to perform the lead test.

• The test takes approximately 30 minutes to perform and is required by the State of New Jersey.

• Every room is required to be visually inspected for deteroriated paint and in some municipalities a dust wipe test will be performed in each bedroom and one common area

• If requested, Lead Testing Services NJ LLC will wear a mask and gloves and will remove shoes upon entry.

Appointment No Show

In the event that a tenant does not provide access or there is no landlord or management company representative onsite to gain access to the unit/home at the scheduled time of the test, an “Appointment No Show” fee will be billed in the amount of $150.
